The young doctoral team is proficient in the use of 2D software, 3D software and CAE analysis software, and is especially good at the development of lightweight aluminum instead of steel in the aspects of structural design, material design, forming method selection, machining, assembly process design and final evaluation of automotive load-bearing parts. The aluminum alloy engine bracket and differential bracket developed simultaneously with Toyota Motor have been fitted with Toyota RAV4 and CARORA. The high-performance aluminum alloy steering knuckle developed for Geely Group has passed the bench test of Tianjin National Automobile Testing Center and passed the actual vehicle verification. Currently, it is developing lightweight parts with aluminum instead of steel (cast iron) for Japan's Mazda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Great Wall Motors.

Complete product design and development experience
We designed and developed the steering knuckle components for Geely Group's new model and completed the whole life cycle of product development. According to the customer's boundary conditions, the development center carried out 3D design, CAE strength check, design plan optimization, 3D printing sample production, mold design, extrusion casting production process design, surface treatment, assembly testing and other processes. The products were tested in the National Automotive Testing Center for fatigue, impact and other bench tests, all of which passed the test and then underwent a 30,000km road test.

We are in the leading position in China in the field of material science applications in line with the latest scientific achievements. The new material and process research successfully conducted by our company includes: ADC12 aluminum alloy near-liquid phase indirect squeeze casting experimental research, using innovative methods to design the gating system and overflow discharge system to achieve sequential solidification of parts and control the generation of shrinkage cavities and shrinkage porosity; magnesium alloy solid phase synthesis, the study of AZ91D magnesium alloy dynamic recrystallization organization, tensile properties, etc. to promote energy saving and emission reduction, and to achieve sustainable development of magnesium industry.
Proficient in casting process and quality control
We have the ability to design die-casting and extrusion casting molds independently. The engineers and technicians in our R&D center master the key technologies of mold design such as gating system, cooling system and ejection system, and have rich experience in designing pressurized casting molds, using simulation optimization such as temperature simulation, particle tracking, solidification analysis and roll gas distribution. We have a mature product development and quality control system, and conduct preliminary research on possible quality problems in production to minimize quality risks in the design and production planning stage.
